According to the statement of persons nominated for the County Council election for Towcester, the Labour candidate in no longer nominated. The statement reads, "The nomination paper did not contain the electoral numbers of the persons subscribing to it." Accordingly Barry Douglas the Labour Party Candidate may not be voted for.
As such the nominees are: Chris Lofts - Liberal Democrat, Barry Mahoney, UKIP Ian McCord, Conservative Party and Mark Plowman, British National Party (BNP) The poll will be taken on Thursday 9th February 2012 between 7 am and 10 pm.
You'll see that I have spray painted out the home addresses of all the nominees in the interests of privacy, although I suspect that the Labour candidate had probably not got that right either.
